Do we do site visits ?

Yes. We offer free site visits, surveys & advice.
We recommend that a roof is inspected at least once a year.
Ideally twice, once in the spring & autumn.
We will charge for written reports.

What causes flat roof coatings to fail ?
There are several reasons for roof failure. Here are the main ones:
- Lack of inspection and maintenance - Regular checks catch issues before failure
- UV rays – UV radiation will eventually break down the chemical bonds of roof coatings
- Extreme temperature swings – The thermal shock causes roofs to expand & contract
- Standing water – Water can cause blistering when hot & freezes to expand faults
- Biological growth – Lichen and moss can retain moisture & invade seams
- Foot traffic – If the roof sees frequent use, then it’s going to suffer general wear and tear underfoot.

Our team holds relevant CSCS, SSSTS, and IPAF qualifications, and we prepare full risk assessments and method statements (RAMS) for every project. We also carry comprehensive public liability.
